When you use one of our affiliate or referral links you are not spending anything extra. As an affiliate or a referrer, these companies are paying us a small commission or a single bonus, to send customers to their sites. If you are shopping online anyway( I think most of us are) then this is just a way that you can help us to make a small income to help us further our homestead goals, and make it possible for us to make our YouTube videos. We really appreciate your support! With love from the Homestead, Gary and Victoria
I became a member in 2001 and have earned back $465 and counting. Since that time I have loved doing my shopping online when the holidays come around, I would go through the site to places like Shutterfly or Snapfish to make family albums for my nieces and nephews, of our vacations together. I have given magazine subscriptions from Magazines .com. I buy my groceries, hardware, clothing and even book travel, through this site and I earn cash back doing it all. During this time of Covid 19 and the Pandemic, we have all had to change our habits. Wouldn't it be nice, since you are ordering online anyway, to get some of your money back? Save more using their coupons and give more with the savings and discounts you can rack up through Rakuten? Their app, browser widget, and web site are so user friendly. When you make your first purchase through the site we will both earn cash back. I can't wait to hear about your adventures in saving.
Our health issues have taken us on a journey. It has led us to our homestead where we produce much of our food during the summer months and helped us to put away food for the winter months too. However we still have to buy things we can not produce for ourselves (yet). Things like grains, rice, oats, wheat and some beans. As well as things like sugar and chocolate <3. They also have a great deal more like environmentally friendly products that are hard to find ( if you care parchment paper is one of my favorites), beauty and personal care products and cleaning products that are all good for you and the environment. These are the reasons we choose to shop with them. Just recently they have expanded their delivery routes to include the states that they didn't deliver to before the Pandemic. Maine is one of them! I was so excited. We have picked up our first delivery in January of 2021, and our next will be in April of 2021! This has been such a blessing to us and others in our state that have been looking for those bulk items, most of which are grown organically right here in America, that were hard or impossible to find from local stores. Azure Standard has a mission that is in line with our beliefs. We want a natural, organic, sustainable, and thriving eco system. We want food systems, health systems and economic systems to be local and fair for all. If you believe like we do, and you are having a hard time finding those systems in your area, please consider purchasing from Azure Standard through our sign up link below.
Moving to a rural area can make it hard to find the brands and sizes you are used to buying from stores you used to shop in. When we moved to our Homestead here in Maine, our shopping habits changed when our life goals, health and most of our eating habits changed too. Like most people who homestead our life goals were to grow most of our own food. We quickly realized that it was going to take us some time to be more self sustaining. Yes, we were going to need to buy food still. But where would we buy it from? The stores we had access to often didn't carry what we wanted to support our health goals and challenges. Organic and Keto were not words you see in many rural stores at that time. All this change was taking place in 2013 - 2014 and at the time we didn't even know about Thrive market. In 2017 I became a member, so we could have access to the organic, keto and gluten free products that we just couldn't get here in our town. When the Pandemic hit in 2020, we were so glad that we had access to food delivery services like this one and Misfits Market, because staying home was how we were able to make it through the Pandemic Quarantine. They cater to special diets of all kinds. You can find products for your pantry, health, baby, home and many of them are from sustainable companies that you can feel good about supporting. Please consider joining this amazing online store to purchase your hard to find specialty and organic items.
As with most of our other shopping habit changes, we also changed the way we shop for our produce. You see, as organic farmers, we needed access to organic produce at fair prices. The stores we have access to in town do carry some organic produce, and our local farmers market is an amazing resource in the productive summer months and a little in the Fall. Where we had issues with finding a wider variety of organic produce was in the deep winter months. When we signed up in 2020 it was the dead of winter and the Corona Virus was just becoming prevalent in the news. Our first box came to us March 4th with 12 varieties of mixed produce, all organic and weighing in at 22 lbs. The quality was good, packaging was good, shipping was timely and in a matter of months I was able to choose what I wanted delivered as well as from their new products. When our growing season started we still needed veggies until we started to harvest our own. So we continued to order every other week, and then we skipped all our boxes until October. They make it so easy with email updates and order tracking. If an item is missing or damaged, their FAQ and Help center are easy to use and reply within 24 hours. I have had to contact them twice and they refunded me for missing or damaged items on each occasion. I have issues with companies that have bad customer service, so you can believe me when I say, I would never recommend a company without knowing how their customer service responds to and solves issues. This company and the others above all have great customer service!! Give Misfits Market a chance, I think you will love them like I do.
